Write articles. Articles can be a great way to market affiliate products. Write articles that highlight a problem and tell how you can solve those problems with the product you are promoting. A sure fire way to generate traffic to your affiliate merchant is to include one or more links in the author's resource box. To achieve real success writing articles, submit between one and three articles each day.

Participate in forums. Forums can be another great way to generate traffic to your merchant's sales page. Scan the forums and look for threads that are related to the affiliate product that you are promoting. When entering your reply, include meaningful information. Don't expect to develop any significant traffic if you just respond by saying, "great post." To be really effective using forums, reply to 8 posts per day at several different forums.

Use advertising. Consider free ads, paid ads, classified ads, solo ads and ezine ads. If you are on a tight budget, propose ad swaps with other webmasters. To be really effective, spend half of your monthly profits on advertising if you are making less than $800 per month.

Build a list. One of the most effective ways to develop an ongoing affiliate business is to have your own list. You can send out emails promoting your favored affiliate products ion a regular basis. Almost all of the big super affiliates have very large lists. On average, you can expect to earn about one dollar per month for each person on your list. Over time, this is one of the most effective techniques to helping you become a super affiliate.
