the first step you want to take when starting potty training with your child is allowing them to watch you go to the bathroom and keep saying to your child that they want to go potty like mommy and daddy(and siblings if they have them)too and be a big boy or girl. so let them see how you do it guys!
Step2
disposable pull ups are great because you can just toss them when your child has an accident in them. no mess! keep asking them at least once an hour if they need to go potty. reminding them they will be rewarded when they go to the potty like a big kid. a favorite treat and then a cute cartoon sticker like a badge is fun to stick on their shirt!
Step3
resistance, encouragement, diligence is the key here. enough of this intensity over the course of a week should turn out to a fully potty trained child.
Tips & Warnings
don't be discouraged if its takes a little longer!
for little boys, cheerios in the toilet for them to aim at sounds silly but it works!
don't be too harsh on the child when they fail and always reward a job well done!

I took my daughter to the store and showed her all the big girl panties there were. This encouraged her! I didn't use pull-ups because she treated these as diapers! Good article. Each child is different!
