How to grow grass

This article will teach you the basic steps of growing grass.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• grass seed
• metal rake
• topsoil
• straw
• water

1. Use a metal rake or similar tool and work up the soil where you would like grass to grow.

2. Sprinkle a lot of grass seed down on the ground and then go around and step down everywhere to even out.

3. Cover with a light coating topsoil and sprinkle straw(not hay) all over the top.

4. Water, Water, Water! Water your yard about 2-3 times a day unless it rains.

Tips & Warnings

• It may take a few weeks to notice grass sprouting, so just remember to water.
