Things You'll Need:
- Your devotion
- Time
- Discipline
- Space
- Desk and chair
- School supplies: paper, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, erasers, etc...
-
Step 1
Establish a routine for your child such as setting the time to do homework. Having a regular routine helps your child knows in advance what you are expecting, and eases his anxiety.
-
Step 2
Set a space in your home with a desk and a chair for your child to study. He will know exactly where his homework is, and will associate the tasks that must be done at that particular spot.
-
Step 3
Provide adequate school supplies such as pens, pencils, erasers, markers, crayons, scissors, etc. Having all of these supplies available will cut down on the time spending to look for them, or having reasons not to finish his homework.
-

Give lot of praises, encouragements, and positive feedbacks. Provide help only when you see your child in distress to avoid frustrations with his study.
-

-
Step 6
Admit the truth if you don't know the answer, and ask your child to help you looking for the answer. This will help him builds his self-esteem and confident in his knowledge.
