How to make Gnocchi with Gorgonzola

This recipe is for about 4 people. Gorgonzola is a veined cheese, has been made since the Middle-Ages, but only became marbled with Mold in the eleventh century. And it is frequently used in Italian cooking, but the cheese itself is not always loved by many because of the smell and the particular taste.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 400 gr of Gnocchi
  • 120 gr of Gorgonzola (or Blue Cheese)
  • 30 gr of margarine
  • 50 gr of parmesan cheese
  • ½ a box of cooking cream (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Step1
1. Wait for the water to boil and add a pinch of salt and the gnocchi
Step2
2. Dice the gorgonzola
Step3
3. In a pan add the diced gorgonzola, the margarine and the (optional) cream, until it becomes creamy
Step4
4. Boil the Gnocchi for about 10 minutes
Step5
5. When ready add the gorgonzola cream, mix and serve hot.
