Putting a personal stamp on a picture frame makes your favorite photos all the more memorable. You can preserve those precious memories by displaying the pictures in a picture frame decorated with ribbons.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Measure your picture frame to determine how much ribbon you're going to need. For an 8 by 10 inch frame, you will need at least 36 inches of ribbon to cover all four sides. It's a good idea to buy extra ribbon in case there's a mistake in cutting.

  2. Step 2

Cut your ribbon to size. Before you begin applying the ribbon to the frame, lay the cut pieces of your ribbon onto your picture frame to see how they will look.

  3. Step 3

Apply adhesive to the ribbon. If you're using a glue stick, hold one end of the ribbon down and run the glue stick away from you onto the ribbon. By using a glue stick, you can move the ribbon to the proper position and align it to fit perfectly to the edges of the picture frame.

  4. Step 4

Place your ribbon onto the picture frame. Start with the sides of the frame and position your ribbon exactly where you want it to go before finally securing it to the frame.

  5. Step 5

Complete your picture frame by repeating Steps 3 and 4 to apply the remaining ribbons to the top and bottom of the frame.

Tips & Warnings
  • Work on a flat, level surface, such as a coffee table or hard floor, and be sure to give yourself plenty of room.
