Adding curling ribbon to a bachelorette boa is a fun way to dress up the boa for the bride-to-be. You can add curling ribbon to the boa by itself, but it looks cuter if you thread the ribbon through silk flowers and then add them to the boa. Here are some tips on how to add ribbon to a boa for your bachelorette party.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Pull the stems off the silk flowers. The hole at the bottom of the flower is where you're going to thread the ribbon.

  2. Step 2

Choose the colors of the ribbon. If you can't decide what ribbon colors you want to use, go with the bride's favorite colors or the color theme of the wedding.

  3. Step 3

Cut the ribbon in same-length pieces. The pieces need to be at least 16 inches so the ends are long enough to curl.

  4. Step 4

Take a 6-inch piece of crafting wire and bend it in half. Use this crafting wire to thread the ribbon through the center of the silk flower.

  5. Step 5

Slide the ribbon through the bend in the crafting wire, making sure both ends are even. Then, pull the ribbon through the center hole of the flower. One end of the ribbon should be toward the front of the flower and the other toward the back.

  6. Step 6

Tie the ribbon around the boa. Wrap the ribbon around each side of the boa and tie a knot either in the front or back of the boa so the ribbon and flower stay in place.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always choose an equal amount of ribbon to add to the boa so it looks balanced.
  • Avoid adding too many ribbons. This will cover all the feathers of the boa.
