Step 1
Stand up straight and raise the arm holding the nunchucks chest high. Hold the nunchuck one thumb length from the chain or rope. Point your thumb toward the chain or rope.

Hold your hand out with your thumb pointing sideways and knuckles pointing up.

Turn your hand so your thumb points upward and one side of the nunchuck rests on the back of your hand. Your hand is inside the nunchucks. Do not swing them around too fast or you may lose control of them.

Step 4
Release your hand and open your fingers. The nunchucks are balanced on your hand and wrist.

Step 5
Twist your hand around and grab the other side of the nunchuck. Until you learn this move you will probably drop your nunchucks. This is normal.

Step 6
Turn your hand the other direction and repeat the process.

Step 7
Practice wrist spins slowly and gradually work on moving faster. Work at one speed until you get the movements timed right and then speed it up.
