Another interesting way of working with stamp designs is with watercolor paints. This technique is easy and fun to learn. You can either use pens or paintbrushes to create your own beautiful stamp art for cards, stationary or any projects you can think of.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Stamps
  • Watercolor paints
  • Watercolor pen
  • Paintbrush
  • Blender pen
  • Watercolor paper
  1. Step 1

Press stamp on ink pad and then press it on watercolor paper. The stamp image is now on your watercolor paper and ready for you to paint. Select which color or colors you want to use and then choose either a paintbrush, a watercolor pen or a blender pen to begin your project.

  2. Step 2

Close the stamp pad, and then squeeze it shut to put ink in the bottom of it. Use this as your well to dab your brush or pens in, or you can dip the tip of your paintbrush in water and then put it in your watercolor paint.

  3. Step 3

Fill in the stamp design either by painting it with a paintbrush, or using a watercolor or blender pen. Use the pens as you would a paintbrush to create your projects.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you use too much water the colors won't be as strong.
  • Prime the watercolor pen by squeezing it to make sure it has water inside of it before you start your project.
