Turkish pasta is a dressed up version of old fashion macaroni and cheese. Eggs make this pasta dish as light and fluffy as a soufflé. Feta and nutmeg give it a distinctly Turkish flavor. This dish is quick and easy to serve, making it perfect for a busy weeknight.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix half the cheese sauce with the cooked pasta and beaten eggs. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together until the pasta is well coated.

  2. Step 2

Pour the Turkish pasta mixture into an oven safe casserole dish. Top the Turkish pasta mixture with the remaining cheese sauce. Help the cheese sauce distribute evenly by spreading it over the pasta with a rubber spatula and shaking the casserole dish lightly.

  3. Step 3

Bake the Turkish pasta casserole for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and fluffy. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

  4. Step 4

Serve the Turkish pasta with a classic Turkish feta roll for an authentic Turkish meal.

Tips & Warnings
  • Round out your Turkish pasta dinner with a traditional Turkish dessert of baklava and some strong Turkish Coffee. You can also offer some authentic Turkish tea if your guests aren't coffee drinkers.
