How to Serve Shrimp Egg Rolls with Sesame Noodles

Preparing shrimp egg rolls and sesame noodles requires time, and after all that effort cooking, it is satisfying to serve a meal that is aesthetically pleasing. Here's how to present the meal in a way that feeds the eye as well as the stomach.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Sesame noodles
  • Deep fried shrimp egg rolls
  • Dishwasher or plate warmer
  • Plate
  • Serving spoon
  • Paper towel
  • Chopped jalapeño
  • Fresh parsley
  • Sweet chile sauce
  • Ramekin
Step1
Put plates in the dishwasher on the warming cycle 30 minutes prior to serving the meal. Finish the preparations on the egg rolls and sesame noodles while the plates are warming.
Step2
Place a large scoop of sesame noodles on one side of the warmed plate. Push stray noodles back into the pile with the serving spoon or with your fingers. Use a paper towel to wipe up any stray sauce drippings from the noodles.
Step3
Lay the egg rolls on the side of the plate opposite the noodles. Arrange the egg rolls in a fan formation. Place 2 egg rolls end to end at a 150 degree angle. Slightly overlap the last 2 egg rolls onto the sesame noodles and place them at a 45-degree angle.
Step4
Sprinkle diced jalapeño slices over the noodles. Let a few jalapeños drop onto the plate.
Step5
Place a small ramekin, filled with dipping sauce, on the plate. Garnish the egg rolls with sprigs of parsley. Serve the meal immediately and enjoy it warm.
