After spending a few hours preparing your Hawaiian pork with braised cabbage and tomato and pineapple skewers, you should do justice to the dish with a appropriate presentation. Throw on a festive Hawaiian shirt and think tropical.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tropical themed plates
  • Hawaiian pork
  • Braised cabbage
  • Pineapple and tomato skewers
  • Peppers
  • Onions
  • Lemongrass
  • Water chestnuts
  • Chopped scallions
  • Serrano peppers
  1. Step 1

Serve your guests on tropical-themed plates. Put a scoop of the Hawaiian pork on the plate with some of the peppers, onions and lemongrass that cooked with it. Lemongrass has a strong flavor. If it's too strong, you can leave that in the pot and just sprinkle some lemon zest on top.

  2. Step 2

Add a scoop of braised cabbage. Arrange the pineapple and tomato skewers on either side of the cabbage.

  3. Step 3

Ladle some sauce from the pot over everything on the dish. Use it sparingly, because it's not supposed to make the dish juicy, just add some extra flavor to tie it all together.

  4. Step 4

Place some water chestnuts around the plate. Finish off with a sprinkling of the chopped scallions and Serrano peppers. If you want the dish on the spicy side, add extra peppers or substitute them with a few chopped jalapeño peppers.
