If you're making a tasty turkey for Thanksgiving or another special occasion, then you probably will want some stuffing for the big bird. You can make stuffing with a variety of ingredients, but croutons are a great choice. You can place some inside the turkey, and you can cook the rest separately in the oven for a tasty treat.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Croutons
  • Black pepper
  • Basil
  • 3 eggs
  • Bowl
  • Additional vegetables (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of water
  1. Step 1

Buy seasoned croutons so that it is easier for you to prepare the stuffing. Some croutons have garlic seasoning, others might have Parmesan and olive oils. Chose a flavor that will go with your turkey.

  2. Step 2

Empty the box of croutons into the bowl. Mix 2 teaspoons of chicken baste or seasoning with the croutons. Add a dash of black pepper. Don't overseason the croutons.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle a teaspoon of dry basil over the croutons. Mix in 3 eggs. Add 1/2 cup of water. Mix the crouton with your hands until they fully absorb the ingredients.

  4. Step 4

Let the mixture sit on the side while you get your other fruits and vegetables chopped, sliced and diced for the stuffing.
