  • Sharp knife
  • Hot focaccia bread
  • Fresh basil
  • Serving plate or tray
  • Dried marjoram

      Remove the hot focaccia bread from the oven and place it on a cutting board. Cut the focaccia bread into eight wedges.

      Place the fresh basil on a cutting board and chop it with a sharp knife, but reserve a few whole leaves for garnish. Chop the fresh parsley.

      Cut the sweet red peppers into cubes, and place them in a small bowl. Stir the chopped, fresh basil and chopped parsley in with the sweet red peppers and scatter the mixture over the hot focaccia bread.

      Sprinkle a small amount of dried marjoram over the hot focaccia bread. Tuck a few whole basil leaves under the edges of the focaccia bread wedges, as garnish, and serve the focaccia bread wedges hot.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add a bit of freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the hot focaccia bread wedges for a flavor similar to pizza.
