How to Serve Bean Burrito Bites

Hot and spicy bean burrito bites make a great appetizer for a party or a perfect snack for game day or poker night. You also can serve them to the kids as a treat after school. They're easy to make and downright delicioso.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Prepared burritos, heated
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salsa
  • Bowl for salsa
  • Serving tray
  • Individual plates
  • Napkins
  1. Step 1

    Place the burrito bites on a cutting board, and using a sharp knife, cut each one in half diagonally.

  2. Step 2

    Place the salsa in a small bowl, and put the bowl in the middle of the serving tray.

  3. Step 3

    Place the bean burrito bites around the outer edge of the serving tray, surrounding the bowl of salsa, with the open edges facing outward so the colors of the filling will be displayed.

  4. Step 4

    Sprinkle freshly chopped cilantro over the salsa and over the bean burrito bites, as garnish.

  5. Step 5

    Serve the bean burrito bites hot, with small individual serving plates and plenty of napkins.

Tips & Warnings
  • Bean burrito bites can be made ahead of time. Simply store them in the refrigerator and heat them in the oven just prior to serving.
  • Use disposable plates and napkins for quick and easy clean up.
  • Consider serving a double batch of bean burrito bites. Place them on two separate serving trays, one with mild salsa and one with hot salsa.
