How to Serve Mushroom Fritters

Mushroom fritters are delicious served hot and crisp. Serve them with a bowl of freshly made Havarti cheese dip, and you have a flavorsome appetizer. Mushroom fritters are so hearty and filling, they can be used as a stand-alone dish.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Prepared mushroom fritters, warm or cold
  • Prepared Havarti cheese dip
  • Serving bowl for Havarti cheese dip
  • Large serving platter or tray
  • Salsa
  • Scallions
  • Tiny onion
  1. Step 1

    Place the prepared Havarti cheese dip in a small, stemmed serving bowl. Wipe the rim and outer edge of the bowl with a damp paper towel to remove any spilled Havarti cheese dip.

  2. Step 2

    Place the bowl of Havarti cheese dip in the center of a large serving platter or tray.

  3. Step 3

    Place the scallions on a cutting board and chop them very finely. Peel the tiny onion and cut it into circles.

  4. Step 4

    Put a large dollop of salsa on top of the Havarti cheese dip. Sprinkle a few scallions and onion circles on top of the salsa and dip.

  5. Step 5

    Place the mushroom fritters on the serving platter or tray, surrounding the bowl of Havarti cheese dip.

  6. Step 6

    Sprinkle a few scallions and onion circles over the mushroom fritters.

  7. Step 7

    Serve the mushroom fritters and Havarti cheese dip.

Tips & Warnings
  • A few chopped fresh chives are also delicious sprinkled over Havarti cheese dip and mushroom fritters.
  • You can make the mushroom fritters ahead of time, and keep them in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve them. If you want to serve them hot, put the fritters in a 375-degree. oven for 10 minutes.
