After washing and drying your jeans, you should fold them immediately after they are dried. Leaving them in the dryer will cause them to wrinkle, so fold them as soon as the dryer stops. If you fold your blue jeans properly, they will look nice when you are ready to wear them. Here are some steps on how to properly fold your blue jeans.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wash and dry the blue jeans. Take the blue jeans out of the dryer as soon as it stops drying.

  2. Step 2

    Button and zip the jeans.

  3. Step 3

Place the inner lining of the pockets inside the jeans. If you do not do this step, the pockets will bunch up and look terrible.

  4. Step 4

Hold the blue jeans with both hands in front of you. Bring the right side of the pants to meet the left side of the pants. Flatten it out and make sure the sides are meeting evenly.

  5. Step 5

Fold the top down to meet the foot of the pants. Make sure the fold is even. Then fold over one more time to fold into a neat, square shape.

Tips & Warnings
  • Stack your folded jeans nicely on a shelf or in a draw to prevent wrinkling.
  • Add a dryer sheet to your drawers to help keep the jeans smelling clean and fresh.
  • Iron your jeans if they do wrinkle in the dryer or in the drawer.
  • Drying jeans in the dryer may cause them to shrink.
