Rate: (1 Ratings)

A basic movie made in iStopMotion is an animated movie shot in individual frames that are then set in sequence and linked to produce animated action. IStopMotion provides several features that make this classic movie animation form come alive with the ease and sophistication not available to stop motion animations produced by hand.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open the iStopMotion program.

  2. Step 2

Set your preferences so the movie animation resolution, pixel size and color quality are all to your liking.

  3. Step 3

Configure your external camera so you can shoot the individual frames to create your iStopMotion animation from the angles of your choice.

  4. Step 4

Edit your frames with the iStopMotion's built-in onion skin function, a function that many stop motion animated movies use.

  5. Step 5

Jazz up your iStopMotion animated movie with grids, overlays and zoom options. Make your movie look as professional as a project completed in a professional studio.

  6. Step 6

Sync your iStopMotion characters' lips to your own movie soundtrack.

  7. Step 7

Add foregrounds and backgrounds to your iStopMotion movie scenes to complete your movie's visual depth for a rich visual experience.
