How to Move a Camera in Poser Software
Artists become virtual movie directors with Poser, a 3-D figure design and animation program. They control characters, lights, scenes and cameras. Artists who know basic filmmaking techniques will make better Poser scenes. It all starts with camera set-up and positioning.

Open Poser and add the scene's first character. Select the square in the lower left hand corner of the Preview window. This is the View Port. Choose "Two Ports-Left/Right." Character design is easier with multiple camera views.

2
Click the Left Port and choose "Face Camera" from the Select Camera Menu. Select "Main Camera" for the Right Port and return to the Left Port. Use the Parameter Dials (left side) or Icons (right side of the screen) to move the camera. Select the open hand icon to move the camera right, left, upwards and downwards. The side hand moves the camera left, right, forward and back. The four hand icon moves the camera right to left and back and forth. The sphere icon rotates the camera on the axis.
