Step 1
Find the toy you want to use to circuit bend and set up your equipment on a heat-resistant workspace. If you don't have a heat-resistant workspace, invest in a heat-resistant mat which can be purchased at most craft or hardware stores.
-
Step 2
Decide on the circuit bending you would like to do and start your project. Once you have everything bent that you want to, it's time to move on to how you will project the sound. This can be through the speaker on the toy and/or through an amp in which case you will need to install an audio jack on the toy.
-
Step 3
Check the thread size to the audio jack you want to use. This will be the same size drill bit you need to use to drill the hole for the audio jack. Pick the spot you want to place the audio jack. This should be somewhere with a little bit of room to it and not up against any of the electronic boards.
-
Step 4
Drill the hole while holding the toy down solidly to the table. Insert the audio jack through the inside of the hole. Use the washer and nut to secure the audio jack into place. This can be done with your hand and then a simple wrench. Once this is done, you can move on to wiring the audio jack.
