How to Clip Notes From Web Pages for Google Notebook

Google notebook allows you to clip notes from web pages while you view them. Just sign up for Google notebook, download the browser extension for the operating system you are using, and begin to take notes anytime you are surfing the Internet.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Sign up for Google notebook at google.com. You may use your present email address and whatever password you choose. Provide your country and the word verification and click "I accept" at the bottom of your screen.

  2. Step 2

    Download the browser extension for Google notebook. This is located on the next screen or you can do this anytime you sign into your account by clicking on "browser extension" located at the top of your screen.

  3. Step 3

    Create your first Google notebook. Name it whatever you want. Each time you clip notes they will save to this notebook.

  4. Step 4

    Use Google notebook to take notes. Whenever you are surfing the Internet you can highlight text then right click on the highlighted text and choose "note this (google notebook)." The text will save to your open notebook. You can also right click on pictures or video and choose "note this" to save them to your Google notebook.

  5. Step 5

    Look at the bottom of your screen just above the clock. You will see the words "open notebook." Click on these words to see which notebook is currently open.

  6. Step 6

    Highlight the text you want to note and click on the star with the word "clip" next to it in your open Google notebook. This is another way to clip notes to your Google notebook.

  7. Step 7

    Add another notebook by clicking on "create a new notebook" on your account page in Google. Name your notebook and begin adding notes to it.
