Things You'll Need:

• Fabric
• Sewing machine
• Polyester filling
• Needle
• Thread

1. Fold the fabric for the Christmas ornaments in half and cut the shape you desire out of both layers. This ensures that the two pieces are exactly the same.

2. Put the two pieces of fabric together, right sides touching. You may want to pin the pieces in place so that they don't come apart.

3. Sew around the edge of the fabric, leaving about a 1-inch opening at the end. Then, flip the homemade Christmas ornament right side out, pulling the fabric through the opening.

4. Stuff the ornament with polyester filling to the desired thickness. With a needle and thread, close the small opening.

Tips & Warnings

• A straight stitch with your sewing machine will probably work just fine, but a zigzag stitch prevents fraying.
