  • Model car kit

  1. Step 1

  4. Step 4

Squeeze a small amount of glue onto a toothpick.

  5. Step 5

Put a small bit of glue onto the areas of the parts where the glue will not show.

  6. Step 6

Place the parts together and put a clamp where the pieces are glued. This is optional, but if you clamp the pieces, they will never come off.

  7. Step 7

Allow the glue to dry for a couple of hours to make sure it is sets completely.

Tips & Warnings
  • When gluing chrome parts of the car, take off the chrome colored finish on the areas that you will be gluing by scraping it off with a knife. This will help the piece fit better to the plastic.
  • If you do not have a clamp, you can use a paperclip or a paper clamp to hold your pieces together.
  • Always pre-fit your pieces before attempting to glue them together to insure that they will fit properly.
  • Make sure that you put the lid on the glue tube back on securely so that it does not dry out.
  • Do not get glue on the outside of the model car or you will damage the finish.
