Step 1
Count moving onto a water tile just as though you were doing a normal move into that space. Water tiles don't cost additional movement to enter.
-
Step 2
Move onto a water tile with any single spaced figure and their movement ends. It doesn't matter if the figure has any movement left. All remaining movement is lost, and their movement phase is over.
-
Step 3
Proceed from one water tile to another, and the figure's movement will also end. It doesn't matter if you step into a water tile from a land tile or a water tile; movement always ceases.
-
Step 4
Walk a double-spaced figure into the water, and you get a different result. Double-spaced figures only stop moving if both spaces of the figure's base are in the water. This will allow a double-spaced figure to move across small amounts of water faster than smaller figures.
