How to Spring Entertain with Seven Tips

  1. Step 1

The first thing people start to fear while entertaining is the choice of a color theme. Mix and match can help eliminate that fear. Treat your table like your wardrobe; mixing the color will add so dramatic effect. Use the darker color for the actual table cloth and choice the alternate color for the runner. Add the same color to your chairs, by drape a gather napkin on the back of the chair secured with a ribbon of the same color as the table cloth.

  2. Step 2

Fruit speaks spring. So, take your glasses of beverages and add bright colored fruits. Strawberries, grapes, and orange swirls work great.

  3. Step 3

Always stick with the food that is in season. It will make the trip to the supermarket easier and you will not go wrong. People eat with the timing of the season. Most of the time people crave certain things that are in season. So, you will know that you are pleasing your guest cravings and they will be happy.

  4. Step 4

Another great tip is to add spring to your ice cubes. Make your ice cubes with small piece of mint. This is refreshing and will add the color of green, a spring color.

  5. Step 5

Speaking of green, simple bring the outside inside and to the centerpiece of your table. Add herbs to a glass jar and the scent will flow in the air and make peoples noses smell spring.

  6. Step 6

Create two areas, one for mingling and one for eating. I suggest, if the weatherman is correct, that you start mingling outside with a lot of plant age and scented candles. Then have your eating area as the main focal point.

  7. Step 7

The last tip is to dress in spring fashion for your party and make sure your guess know that it is a spring event.
