Being a primary care giver to your child is the most rewarding and worthwhile thing to do in your life time. The joys of parenthood also come with the cost of sacrifice and putting the child's needs above your own.
Love for your child is of utmost importance. Also, remember that you will need the finances to meet their daily needs.
Step2
Think basic needs. The child needs to eat regularly, depending on the age figure out the timings and serve balanced meals.
Step3
The child needs diaper change or put on the potty if he/she is a toddler, for older children this is not a task to worry about.
Step4
Dress the child appropriately according to the weather. Too often children are dressed scantily in cold weather or over dressed in hot weather.
Step5
If you are a stay-home-mom follow disciplined timings for eating, sleeping, studying and playing. Do lots of fun things together. Leaving the child in front of video games or TV for more than an hour or two is not an option.
Step6
The safety of your child should always be a priority. Watch them like a hawk whether they are in the tub or out in the garden.
Step7
If they show signs of falling sick, be proactive and take necessary measures to avoid the sickness or take them to your primary care physician if symptoms start to get worse.
Step8
Show love and care inspite of enforcing discipline. Get involved in their little lives. Listen and share experiences.
Step9
Be spontaneous, everyday there will be situations and challenges and learning experiences. Learn and improve on your skills, this will ensure the chances of your becoming the primary care giver of your child.
