this is the best way that I found on how to train you toddler son how to use the potty, as we moms of sons know sometimes its very hard to train boys compared to girls but this simple 3 step way will try and make it easier for you

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • a potty chair toddler sized, or the toilet you already have
  • underpants of your childs choosing
  • small toys such as hot wheels cars to use as rewards

Step1
the first step in potty training is always the hardest: how old do I wait to start potty training. And the best advice is simply wait for the signs such as taking off his diaper, refusing to stay in a wet diaper, or even showing interest in the potty. If he has the next step comes a little easier to follow.
Step2
This step will cost you a little money and time, if you decide to use a toddler potty let your son pick out the one he likes in my sons case I bought a plain target potty and let him place pixar cars movie and spider man stickers on it. Start out by also getting a small bag of pull up style underwear, I used pull ups just the regular type I found the cool touch didn't really work well. Now some parents do not like to bribe their children, but I bought about 10 matchbox cars the simple 97 cent ones to use whenever he did use the potty regularly during the day. If you do decide to use your own toilet simply let them choose their stool to stand on to reach, when you allow your child to lead with their own choice in this process it makes the experience a little easier.
Step3
And now comes the harder part depending on each child's personality. First let your son simply play with the toilet such as add stickers the have them try sitting on it for 5 min to get them comfortable with the idea of using it. The between every 15 to 30 min depending on their drink and food intake, some kids might be intimidated by using their new potty so try reading a story or even playing a game to relax them. Dad is key to getting them used to peeing in the potty so let dad show them how to tuck in so as not to make a mess. Whether its poop and pee or just pee always congratulate your child and encourage them. As time goes on let them wear the regular underpants and with a little time and patience and allot of love your son will be out of diapers and on his way to underpants.

Tips & Warnings

  • every child is different, so even if you feel you child isn't ready don't push he will try when he's ready. Their will be accidents so don't get discouraged simply say " its all right but next time lets try in the potty". If you are planning a move, or having a new baby or any other new changes that might hinder potty training so take it slow, and everything will fall into a routine.
