If you are training as a martial arts expert or Shaolin master, you can learn to perform some tricks that will astound all that witness it. One such trick is to break a piece of metal using only your head.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Work with an instructor to practice breaking metal with your head. Serious injury can occur if you attempt this without supervision or guidance. You need to spend significant time learning martial arts before achieving this feat.

  2. Step 2

Get two pieces of metal from a hardware store. The bars are flat with a moderate thickness. You can find these in the aisles that sell pieces of scrap metal.

  3. Step 3

Take the two bars and slap them together. This is to demonstrate to your audience how thick and hard the pieces of metal actually are.

  4. Step 4

Perform deep meditation. You need to take several moments to meditate and practice deep breathing exercises. As you meditate, focus all of your energy to your head.

  5. Step 5

Hold the bar with both of your hands. Thrust it forward several times and then meet it with your head. If done correctly, the bar should split in two.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some say that this exercise is not possible to perform. Detractors state that the bar is quickly replaced during the procedure with a metal bar that was already cut.
  • Make sure that you clear the area while doing this trick. You don't want to injure anyone who is watching you break the metal.
