Lilacs make for a beautiful, fragrant wedding bouquet. Putting the bouquet together is a cinch: arrange the flowers how you like, then secure them in place. Purchase a large amount of lilacs and filler, such as baby's breath or greenery, to fill out your wedding bouquet.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lilacs
  • Baby's breath
  • Greenery
  • Floral tape
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  1. Step 1

Choose the largest and prettiest lilacs to be the centerpiece of your wedding bouquet.

  2. Step 2

Place your centerpiece flowers together in a triangle shape on the table in front of you. Secure them together using floral tape.

  3. Step 3

Add another layer of flowers, always working in a triangle shape with the flat portion on the table. When you carry the bouquet, the flat side will rest on one arm, while the other sides will be full and beautiful from every angle.

  4. Step 4

Step back frequently to look at the bouquet you're building. Make sure the items you use as fillers mix evenly throughout the lilacs.

  5. Step 5

Build the wedding bouquet until it's the size and fullness you like. Use ribbon that coordinates with your wedding decor to hide the floral tape at the bottom.

  6. Step 6

Add a few more layers of ribbon to trail down from the end of the wedding bouquet for a polished, festive look.
