Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Move your forward foot down toward the board's tail. Position your weight to the ball of your foot, which is shifted over to one side of the tail far enough that your heel is on the ground.
Step2
Apply pressure with the back foot to the tip of the tail. You are in the Tail Stop now and are ready to take this into the Casper. This is a little bit tricky. Jump at the same time just enough to shift your weight off of the board. The skateboard will begin its flip into the Casper, which means it's moving toward its side.
Step3
Move the foot that flipped the board to scoop up beneath it while the board is flipping to the side. Your body weight should be fully off of the board at this time. Catch the board in the Casper. Move your other foot from the air to set down on the bottom of the tail. Basically you will be holding and guiding the board in a sideways position between your two feet. And you need to do this all in a quick fluid motion to flip the board, jump off one foot and grab the board with that same foot.
Step4
Catch the board without hitting either of your feet on the pavement and you've done a smooth Tailstop to Casper to be proud of. Flip the board back out of that position and go into your next trick.
