Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sign up for a free account. If you have a Yahoo account, you can sign into Flickr with your Yahoo ID an password.

  2. Step 2

Set up your profile. The profile is how others who use the online photo sharing site will know you, so only include information you want to share.

  3. Step 3

Upload your photos from your computer or digital camera to the website. You can load several at once, or one at a time if you prefer.

  4. Step 4

Go back to Flickr or the photo web hosting site you've chosen and organize your photographs. You can create different photo albums and label them by occasion, person, or place. Use whatever system makes sense for your photo sharing needs.

  5. Step 5

Click the "Privacy and Permission" link on the Flickr page to set who can see your photos online. You can choose to make an album public, in which case anyone can view your photos. Or, you can give specific Flickr users permission to access to your account.

  6. Step 6

Send an email invitation friends and family members, welcoming them to view your photos online. Remember to add their email addresses to your permission list if you've set your photos to private.
