1
Sell accessories to your customer. Show them how good a belt or a long necklace would look with the outfit they're creating. Purses and scarves are also easy impulsive buys. Prove to them that they're ruining the outfit without the perfect set of accessories.

2
Go for the shoes if your store carries them. Few women can resist buying a great pair of shoes, especially if it perfectly makes the outfit the two of you are creating.

3
Add a few staples. If you see someone purchasing a sweater and know the sweater needs a t-shirt or camisole beneath it, point your customers in that direction.

4
Hand customers things while they're already trying on clothes. Let them know that you saw something that would go great with the jeans they're trying on or you have something that fits their body shape/personality/needs exactly. However, you must know the person's size and be good at customer service before you attempt this.
