If your friends comment that you need to date more then put them in charge of helping you accomplish that goal. Encourage them to brainstorm and help you meet new people that they think you will click with and enjoy being around. Read on to learn how to use friends to get a date.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Ask them to fix you up with their friends and family members that they know you'll be compatible with. If you're not completely confident in their taste or judgment, give them a list of essential qualities that you're looking for and those that you can't stand.
Step2
Allow friends to discuss your best qualities with the person you have a crush on. They can offer testimonials about how supportive, smart, funny and trustworthy you are, but caution them against telling "humorous" stories that might paint you in a bad light.
Step3
Use your friends as go betweens to find out if someone is interested in you. Only try this method if they can be casual and mature about it, however, so the person doesn't find out that you're the one who put them up to it.
Step4
Tell them to put the word out that you're available. You never know when a friend's co-worker will know someone who's perfect for you, for example.
Step5
Let your friends surround you and laugh enthusiastically at your jokes when you're at a party or club. Sometimes all it takes to attract someone is for her to think that you're fascinating to other people.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never hold your friends responsible if they set you up in a relationship that results in a painful or upsetting break up. Also tell them not to be upset if you aren't attracted to the person that they thought would be perfect for you.
