You can make the duct tape shower curtain in any color combination you like. Read on to learn how to make a duct tape shower curtain.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Gather your materials. You can expect to use as many as six rolls of duct tape, so be sure to get enough of the colors you want to use. If you run out, the store may not have the exact same color in stock.

  2. Step 2

Measure and cut several 71-inch strips. Put one strip on top of another strip with the sticky sides together. Do this for all the strips. You need about 75 strips for this project.

  3. Step 3

Clear a space on the floor or another flat surface where you can make the shower curtain. Lay out strips in a horizontal pattern until you have a square that's 71 inches deep and wide.

  4. Step 4

Tape one end of each of the strips to the floor with the masking tape. Begin to weave one duct tape strip vertically down the left side of the horizontal square. Go over one horizontal strip and under the next just as if you were weaving a basket. Tape both ends of that duct tape strip to the floor with masking tape when you finish it.

  5. Step 5

Repeat Step 4 with another strip of masking tape. Go over and under opposing strips from the first row. Repeat this until you weave all the strips in place.

  6. Step 6

Cut off four more 71-inch strips of duct tape. Remove the masking tape from one edge of the shower curtain. Fold the single strip of tape over that edge. Try to keep the duct tape edging straight. Repeat for the other three edges of the shower curtain.

  7. Step 7

Hang the shower curtain. If you like, you can install grommets to make the shower curtain sturdier. You can also hang it with a shower curtain liner to make it last longer.
