Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Set the adjustable arms of the Bowflex Revolution at position nine initially. Set the handles at the shortest setting, keeping the D-ring close to the grip. The Bowflex Revolution seat should be set to slide.

  2. Step 2

Place your feet on the footplate. Bend forward slightly while allowing your arms to stay straight. This slides you forward.

  3. Step 3

Lean back, straighten your legs and bend your arms all at the same time. This move requires a bit of coordination, and it's likely you'll have to practice it several times before getting it right.

  4. Step 4

Reach back forward, straightening the arms, and bending forward slightly. This motion is similar to a rowing motion.

  5. Step 5

Set the resistance to an appropriate level. If you wish to do your cardio workout on the Bowflex Revolution for as little as five minutes, set the resistance higher. To do the cardio workout on the Bowflex Revolution for as long as 20 minutes, set the resistance lower.

Tips & Warnings
  • The faster you try to do the exercise in the beginning, the harder it will be to do. As you become more adept at the motion, increase your speed.
  • As you are able to do longer cardio workouts on the Bowflex Revolution, you can set the adjustable arms up higher at position eight.
