When children lose their teeth, it is an exciting time for two reasons. First, this experience signifies that the child is growing and getting older. Secondly, a visit from the Tooth Fairy is to be expected. When preparing for a visit from the Tooth Fairy, it is best to make sure that you keep the tooth safe and sound so that the Tooth Fairy can witness the excitement.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Wash and clean the tooth for the Tooth Fairy. You want to make sure that the Tooth Fairy sees the tooth in good condition. Leave your tooth under your pillow or in a little special pouch made just for your baby teeth.
Step2
Write the Tooth Fairy a letter explaining to her what number tooth this is that you lost, where you lost it and who helped you with pulling it out. Make sure to tell the Tooth Fairy if you prefer to keep the tooth or if you want her to bring the tooth to her magical tooth kingdom.
Step3
Ask the Tooth Fairy some questions about herself and what she does with the teeth. Be sure to leave these questions with the letter that you wrote about your experience while losing your tooth.
Step4
Leave the Tooth Fairy some special cookies and a drink for her before she arrives. Be sure to leave very healthy cookies and drinks, as she does not want to ruin her own teeth.
Step5
Read a special story before bed about losing teeth. If you don't have any books like this, be sure to visit your local library and ask your librarian to help you find books such as this. Get to sleep right after your read the story so that the Tooth Fairy can make her way under your pillow.
