Step 1
Make sure you look online for suits at a discount. Online and offline stores, such as Menswear-discounts.com and Designerapparels.com, have women's and men's suits for over 20 percent off.
-
Step 2
Ask your male or female friends where they buy their suits. You might find they have a trick up their sleeve for buying discount men's suits. They might even have a personal male or female clothing designer contacts you can use.
-
Step 3
Go to thrift stores and buy a suit. Thrift and consignment stores offer great discounts on second hand suits. Some of the suits haven't been worn more than once and are in great shape.
-
Step 4
Ask your friends if you can buy a suit off of them for a discount price. Sometimes our friends can afford more and may have a large selection of suits and apparel that they might spare for a low price. It cannot hurt to ask your closest friend, especially if you both are the same size.

Step 5
Visit a discount department store chain. Many of these stores are located either in a mall or nearby to a mall. K&G Fashion Superstore, Burlington Coat Factory and Marshall's are just three examples of nationwide discount department stores. You can also look for suits at outlet stores too.
-
Step 6
Look for sales at major mall retailers like JCPenneys and Macy's. At the end of winter, suits often go down on a discount. Aim for this time to buy a few suits for pleasure or business.
