Online stores, discount department stores and even thrift shops offer formal dress attire for a low discounted rate. Learn how to buy suits at a discount and look like a million bucks.

1. Make sure you look online for suits at a discount. Online and offline stores, such as Menswear-discounts.com and Designerapparels.com, have women's and men's suits for over 20 percent off.
2. Ask your male or female friends where they buy their suits. You might find they have a trick up their sleeve for buying discount men's suits. They might even have a personal male or female clothing designer contacts you can use.
3. Go to thrift stores and buy a suit. Thrift and consignment stores offer great discounts on second hand suits. Some of the suits haven't been worn more than once and are in great shape.
4. Ask your friends if you can buy a suit off of them for a discount price. Sometimes our friends can afford more and may have a large selection of suits and apparel that they might spare for a low price. It cannot hurt to ask your closest friend, especially if you both are the same size.
