How to Customize a Friendster Page

Customizing your Friendster page is the first step in making your presence known in the Friendster network. With Friendster you can build a home on the Internet and customize it to show people who you are that you're someone they want to be friends with. Personalize your Friendster page with the creative tools built right into the Friendster site.

Instructions

1. Personalize your URL. Decide what you want to name your Friendster Internet site. This will be your own personal URL address. Under the heading "My Box," select the option "Personalize Your URL." Enter the name you selected and click on the "Select This URL" button. Your Friendster site address now announces that this is your site.

2. Add some HTML. Under "My Profile," select "Edit Profile." Enter your text and HTML tags. Keep in mind that you are limited to a thousand characters for each section, including the HTML tags.

3. Create a look. Select the "Customize" tab at the top of the "Edit Profile" page. Choose a skin you want to use as your site background. Press "Select" to apply the skin to your site.

4. Get audio and video. Go to the "Add Media" box at the bottom of the "Customize" page. Click the "Media Tips" and select video and audio for your site using the recommended links. Paste the video and audio HTML code into the "Add Media" box. Save your changes.

Tips & Warnings

• "Revert," located at the bottom of the "Customize" page allows you to undo any changes you make that you don't like.
