How to Create a Pro Sports Dream Team

Live out your dream of owning a professional sports team when you create your own fantasy dream team and participate online in a fantasy sports league. 1. Join a free league. If you're brand new to fantasy sports, try one that's already established. Yahoo Sports is a good place to find a league. If you're experienced, you and your friends can create your own league.
2. Research the players in the sport you've chosen. When you create your own dream team, you'll do better if you know as much as possible about the players. Yes, Reggie Bush is a great choice for a pro football dream team, but you also need defensive linemen and a field goal kicker. To create the best team, you need to get information on players that are not as well known, too.
3. Draft the players for your dream team according to your league's rules. If you play with a league that is already established, you will have to follow the guidelines to the letter. If you and your friends are starting your own league, you will set the specific guidelines together before the draft starts.
4. Pick the best possible players for your dream team, but remember, just like the real thing, you can do trades later. You may also be able to pick up additional players.
5. Pay close attention to the real life games your dream team players participate in each week. This will help you plan strategy for the next week's starting lineup.

• If you play in a league that's already established by a major website,you may the option to let the computer pick your players. It's less work for you, but you'll have more confidence in your dream team if you personally draft the players and create the best team possible.
