How to Make Good Movies as a Kid

Let's face it. Most movie producers will tell you the most important part of a movie is the storyline and kids have great imaginations. Many great movies are made by kids, some as young as 6 years old. With a tiny bit of know-how, it's simple to take a simple story and make it into a great movie. Even if you're a kid.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Think about your story and make sure it has a beginning, middle and end. Make sure it has a conflict (something that is wrong) and a decent resolution for the conflict (people tend to like happy endings).
Step2
Decide how you want the film to look. Figure out if you want your characters made out of play dough, if you want to use a camera and some toys for stop motion animation, if you want to use animated drawings, or if you want people to act your story out in a live action film.
Step3
Make a list of materials you'll need. Include sounds you want in the background, costumes and sets. Don't forget to list the cameras and computer tools you need to complete your project. Gather the materials and ask some friends to help you with your film.
Step4
Grab your camera and enjoy filming as you set up the scenes and direct the story. Upload to the computer and edit. Add sound if necessary.
Step5
Save your film and burn it onto DVD or upload to the Internet so you can share it with others.
