Take control of your life by becoming confident and showing this confidence to the outside world. Even if you feel shy and nervous, portraying confidence will help you look strong so people will respect you. Follow this advice to look like a teenager with confidence.

  1. Step 1

    Be yourself and let your true personality shine through. When you like yourself and feel good about who you are, you will look confident to other people.

  2. Step 2

    Look original and don't follow the crowd. You will look like a weak follower if you copy everyone else in style and manner. Choose to be different and you will look strong and independent.

  3. Step 3

    Walk with your head held high. Look people in the eye and sit tall instead of slouching. Be aware of your body language so you can portray a look of confidence in all situations.

  4. Step 4

    Smile at everyone and say hello. You will look friendly and self-confident. Happy people look confident.

  5. Step 5

    Put your hand up in class. Speak your mind and give your opinion. Show you aren't afraid to ask questions or answer them even if you aren't always right.

  6. Step 6

    Act confident even if you don't feel it. Others will perceive you as confident and they will treat you as a confident person which will then make you actually feel confident.

  7. Step 7

    Convince yourself that you are confident. Tell your negative voices to quiet down and tell yourself how strong and independent you are. Eventually, you will learn to listen to the positive messages in your head which will make you act and look more confident.
