Step 1
Print or use card stock when creating the binder spine's art work. Card stock is a heavier-duty paper. Purchase card stock at any store carrying crafts. Look in the scrap booking or card making area of the store.
-
Step 2
Measure the dimensions of the binder spine. Measure the inside of the binder where card stock will fit.
-
Step 3
Cut the card stock to be a little smaller than the binder spine. Use a paper slicer for an accurate cut.
-
Step 4
Thread the finished card stock into the binder spine at one end by folding back both sides, loosening the spine opening to allow for easier insertion. Stand the binder up. Gently knock the binder against the table and encourage it to fall down into place. Use your fingers to nudge it along. Make sure the card stock is going straight down and not at an angle.
