Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Washcloth
  • Rubber band
  • Ribbon
  • Googley eyes
  • Small craft pom-poms
  • Craft glue or double-sided tape
  1. Step 1

Lay the washcloth on a flat surface with the seams facing you and fold it corner to corner to create a triangle.

  2. Step 2

Start with the point and roll the washcloth up, ending at the long, folded edge. Bring the pointed ends of the roll upwards to create a "U" shape from the rolled washcloth.

  3. Step 3

Hold the pointed ends of the washcloth together in the middle section with one hand and use the other hand to wrap the rubber band around the upper section. The pointed ends create the rabbit ears and the rubber band creates two balls just under the ears to create a face. The folded loop folds backwards to make an "L" shape, creating the body of the rabbit.

  4. Step 4

Glue or tape googley eyes on the face of the rabbit. Use your imagination on what you can use to create the eyes and nose of the rabbit to give it some personality. Glue or fasten the accents to the washcloth dependent upon if you intend to use the washcloth or not.

  5. Step 5

Cover the rubber band with ribbon and tie it into a pretty bow or use curling ribbon to make some frills.

  6. Step 6

Lay a welcoming note on the rabbit's body or attach it to the rabbit with the ribbon. Tuck a sweet treat in the body of the rabbit or a small surprise for children.
