Instructions

    • 1

Line the bottom of a shallow baking pan with waxed paper or parchment paper. Spray the paper with non-stick cooking spray or coat it lightly with vegetable oil.

    • 2

Spray a large mixing bowl with non-stick cooking spray, or coat it with vegetable oil. Pour the box of crunchy chocolate cereal into the bowl. Set it aside.

    • 3

Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the marshmallows, and stir until they're melted and well blended.

    • 4

Add a bit of green food coloring to the melted marshmallows, and continue to stir.

    • 5

Remove the melted marshmallows from the stove and stir in the white chocolate. Add more food coloring, if necessary.

    • 6

Pour the warm marshmallow and chocolate mixture over the crunchy chocolate cereal, and stir the mixture very carefully until the cereal is coated. Using your hands, shape the mixture into about twelve brains, and place the brains on the baking pan.

    • 7

Let the brains cool completely, about 45 minutes, and drizzle on a bit of strawberry syrup "blood."

Tips & Warnings

  • If the mixture sticks to your hands as you're forming the brains, coat them with a bit of vegetable oil.
