How to Make Werewolf Chicken Claws for Halloween

Things You'll Need
- Vegetable oil
- Chicken breasts cut into narrow strips, or pre-made chicken strips
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- Italian bread crumbs
- Black olives, drained
- Tomato paste (optional)
- Shredded lettuce
- Serving tray

Coat a baking pan lightly with vegetable oil.

Place the flour in a shallow dish. Crack the eggs in a small bowl, and beat them with a fork until they're frothy. Put the Italian bread crumbs in a separate shallow dish.

Roll each chicken claw lightly in the flour, and then dip each one in the beaten egg. Lastly, dip each claw in the Italian seasoned bread crumbs.

Lay the chicken claws on the oiled baking sheet, and put them under the broiler for about 6 minutes. Turn them over and broil the other side.

Slice the olives in half the long way, and use a paring knife to trim one end to a claw-like point. Put an olive half on the end of each finger. Add a bit of tomato paste on the other end of the chicken claw for gross out value, if you want.

Serve the chicken claws on a bed of shredded lettuce.
