How to Model for Online Boutiques

If you have always wanted to be a model, but have never had the chance, take the risk and try modeling for online boutiques. If you or your child has the potential to model for some boutiques, it is a great way to get your name and face out there. To begin, you must do your research to find some boutiques looking for models.

Instructions

1. Conduct a search looking for online boutiques that pique your interest. If you are trying to get your child to do some modeling, search for high-end children's boutiques. If you are looking for yourself, look up women's boutiques.

2. Send an email to the online boutiques expressing your interest in their clothing. Be sure to explain you are looking to do some modeling for their company. If the boutique owner does not email you back within a week, send another email.

3. Call the online boutique directly. Express your desire to be a model for their company and tell them why. If the clothing line is Italian inspired and you are Italian, give that information to the boutique owner.

4. Set some terms for the modeling. If you or your child wants to get in good with the boutique, let them know you are willing to do some modeling for free. Explain that you can have someone take the photographs and send them back to the boutique quickly. You may also choose to ask to keep the clothing that you model.

5. Get in contact with some local boutiques in your area. If you stop in their shop, you can show them your portfolio and show off your personality. This is a great way to start networking.

6. Search online for boutiques adverting a need for models. Craigslist may be a good starting point.
