Instructions
  1. Step 1

Keep the thoughts in your head that buying used shoes is not much different than buying a new pair of shoes. Remember that new shoes are tried on every day at retail stores by other women.

  2. Step 2

Buy used shoes that are in good shape. You can find used shoes on online auction sites such as eBay. Many times shoes can be found on these online sites that are considered used but in excellent condition. Examples of these shoes are ones that were bought and worn once, but were not comfortable or did not fit the original buyer.

  3. Step 3

Measure your feet according to length and width just to be sure that you are buying used shoes to fit you. This is necessary for buying shoes on online auctions. If you are buying used shoes at a consignment shop, try them on and walk around to feel for comfort.

  4. Step 4

Purchase some disinfecting spray to make your used shoes a bit more fresh and clean. You can purchase some anti-fungal spray or just mist the inside of the used shoes with some rubbing alcohol. This is a good preventative of getting a foot disease.

  5. Step 5

Look to see what kind of return policy there is on the used shoes. If you are purchasing used shoes on eBay and they do not end up fitting or being what you expected, you want to be sure that you can return them.
