How to Live Like a College Student
College students keep strange hours, party and study. To live like a college student you need to know what a college student does--college students eat, sleep, study and party. They are also poor, don't necessarily work and call mom and dad for spending money and care packages.

1
Stock up on junk food that is inexpensive. College students don't eat meals--they eat junk food. With the hours they keep that is all that is available when they get hungry. Of course, if they are lucky, they have a meal plan in the dorm, but then they have to get there doing the hours they are open.

2
Stay up all night. College students don't necessarily sleep at night, they sleep when it is convenient and there is usually more going on at night so that isn't the time to sleep. All nighters are good for studying, partying and entertaining.

Become familiar with the library, computer labs and science labs. These are places that college students find themselves more often than not. Research is a high priority in college so be sure you are familiar with the various places to do it. Of course, if you have your own computer you can do a lot of research on it.

Hang out in the student union, frat houses and other stores on campus like the ice cream parlor or a coffee house. College students visit these places frequently to catch up with their friends and know what's going on on campus. You can't be a college student without visiting these places a couple times a week if not more.

Figure out how you will get across campus. Most college students learn to walk again. Since colleges limit the amount of parking, it is important for the freshmen student to either walk or ride a bike. This is different if you aren't living on campus, but even if you drive to the campus you still have to navigate it and most of the time this means walking.
