How to Download Music off MySpace

Thousands of pages on the networking website MySpace are devoted to popular singers and bands. Some are even run by the artists themselves. Although relatively few pages will directly download your favorite songs to your computer, you can download music from MySpace.

Instructions

1. Download the MySpace mP3 Gopher. This software allows you to easily download songs from MySpace, even if the band or artist doesn't list that option. It should only take a few minutes for the software to download.

2. Install the program on your computer and follow the prompts when required.

3. Input the User ID number or friend number on the MySpace profile that you're interested in. This number is usually listed at the end of the URL.

4. Click the "Get Song Listing" button on the Gopher program. This will take you to a list of the songs found on that particular MySpace profile.

5. Select the song you want to download by double clicking on the listing. If there are several songs listed, pick the one you like the best to start.

6. Pick "Download" from the options offered. After a few moments, the song should begin to download directly from the MySpace page.

7. Save the file in your downloads folder and get ready to listen to your favorite songs.
