You will need to change the settings in Excel the first time that you use it to read the news, but after the initial changes you should not have to make any additional adjustments.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Click the toolbar options arrow on the standard toolbar.
Step2
Locate and select the Add and Remove Buttons option and then select the Customize option.
Step3
Click the commands tab and in the categories section list select the Go option.
Step4
Hold down the mouse continuously while clicking the "News" option in the Commands list.
Step5
Point to the location where you want to place the News command, and Drag and drop it in that area. Once you have placed it where you want it to be, you can release the mouse.
Step6
Set up your newsgroups accounts. To do this you will need internet access and your account username and password to access your internet account. You will also need the name of the news server that you want to connect to.
Step7
Access the Network News Transport Protocol newsreader where you can download newsgroup content. You can work with the information that is gathered either continuously online or save it and reference the information when you are offline.

Tips & Warnings
